The successor of the famous KEM 970 line array microphone was, again, developed in collaboration with the Institute of Radio Technology in Munich. The system "Satellite" consists of the KEM 975 together with the optional delta capsule.

NAMM2011 NAMM-Show 2013 Anaheim, California

During the month of January the NAMM show attracts thousands of audio professionals to the lovely town of Anaheim to check out new and established products of the Music Industry from around the globe. Besides tending to our booth at the convention center, we also had the opportunity to be in the Los Angeles area attending some noteworthy events aside from the NAMM convention itself.

For the second rendezvous of Erfurt Nerly BIGBAND with U.S. jazz legend Sherry Williams, Sinatra trumpeter Jim Linahon and the award-winning pianist Markus Burger, the common path led directly to the acclaimed Erfurt Theater studio after playing three sold out concerts in summer 2012. Also present were 15 microphones of the type M930 and a number of other award winning Microtech Gefell microphones, guaranteeing the pristine sound of the Nerly Big Band.

New Linearray microphone KEM 975

In cooperation with the IRT München (Institut für Rundfunktechnik) the Cardioid Plane Microphone KEM 975 was developed as a new design of the patented instantaneous line array microphone principle which is already in use in the KEM 970. The new Linearray microphone system „Satellite“ includes the KEM 975 and accessories as well. It will be presented and purchasable at the upcoming Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt 2013.
